TO TWEET OR NOT TO TWEET, THAT IS THE QUESTION

During the #ISTH2021 congress, the #ISTHEarlyCareer committee asked me and Matthew Cormier #SoMe editor from @RPTHjournal to participate in “Channel chats” Personally, Twitter has strangely enriched my life in unexpected ways, as I've found friendly, like-minded people in the field and beyond, some fun and even a fantastic mentor.  I thought it might be helpful to provide some tips and tricks! See short “How to” guide here.

2019

Presenting my platelet research in an actual pub as part of the Pint of Science event, was such a great experience. It really taught me how to explain my research to a general audience and their questions were very good and highly relevant. See slides here.
